Consignment Information
Thank you for your interest in consigning with Canadian Saving Mom. You will note below the terms & conditions of the program.
Terms & Conditions:

Canadian Saving Mom (Lisa Wilson) will sell your items on your behalf.

Lisa will earn 50% of total sales - 50% of total sales will be sent to you via EMT (see client check-in process below…)

Service currently offered to residents of Kingston & Surrounding Area

Outside areas can be discussed by a situational basis

Items Accepted - suggested drop off amount: two full totes of clothing - any size, gender & brand; two boxes (uhaul/large diaper box size) of books/games/toys/household items, etc. If you have questions about what’s accepted - please contact Lisa.

Please do not drop off items in garbage bags (reusable grocery bags are acceptable)

Please do not drop off items in totes/containers/bags that you need back quickly

Items MUST be non-smoking, clean, intact and in excellent/like-new/new condition.

Items not meeting these condition standards will be deemed unsellable and will not be accepted.

Items will NOT be accepted if - they are stained, damaged (ex. holes, excessive piling), significantly coated in pet hair or have malodour. If items are dropped off to Lisa in this condition - they will be deemed unacceptable and disposed of at Lisa’s discretion (as per your intake document).

Items NOT Accepted - ANY item prohibited as per the social media outlet policies, illegal items, advertisement for employment, rental, pets or likewise.

Pick-Up of items is available for a fee of $5-$10 depending on location (25km radius maximum for pick up) (also applicable to return of items if requested)

Drop off available at my residence (applicable for pick-up if clients requesting unsellable items be returned to them).

Pick Up/Drop Off process to be discussed between Lisa & Client

If there are items with a retail value of $100+ or items you have a specific price point in mind - this MUST be communicated to Lisa at the time of item drop off.

Sale Period is variable and flexible - will depend on number of items received and season - will be at Lisa’s discretion.

Lisa will list on multiple selling platforms - at competitive prices.

Price to be determined by Lisa (unless otherwise discussed)

Items to be sold at Lisa’s discretion

Lisa is not liable for the consignment items - business transacted in good faith. There is an outdoor security system in working condition at Lisa’s residence.

Lisa reserves the right to end the client-consigner relationship at any time.

Wrap Up Document will be sent to the client at the end of sale.
Communication Clause:
-
As availability presents, Lisa will reach out (in order of date) to those who have completed the CSM Consignment Wait List form.

Lisa will contact you (via your preferred method of contact as per forms), and provide you a date - approximately two weeks from contact. This is to give you time to collect all of your consignment items.

Lisa will contact you closer to that said date to discuss a plan for retrieval of your consignment items.

Given the ongoing wait list of consignment clients, if you do not respond to contact in 48 hours, with a plan for consignment item delivery/pick-up - Lisa will move to the next consignment client.

If you contact Lisa after that 48 hour period - you will be placed back into the queue as per the wait list, and will be contacted again when availability presents.
Client Check-In Process

On (approx) 20th of each month - Lisa will reach out to you (via your preferred method of communication), to provide an update on your consignment balance.

If your balance is under $50.00 - you will not receive a message that month

You may request a payout when Lisa contacts you, or you can continue to roll the balance.

Payouts are made via EMT.

Please feel free to reach out to Lisa at any time with questions - but a consignment balance will be provided once per month.
