I am a regular Mom, who has always had a sincere passion for spending less, shopping smart and saving money. I have made some significant financial mistakes, which have prompted and motivated me to change my lifestyle and mindset to shift towards a budget-friendly life. I aspire to share attainable ways to shop smart and spend less - as I am doing those things right alongside you.
I have always had such a passion for second hand shopping - which motivated my idea to start a consignment program within my community. Which both gives an opportunity for people to spend less on items, as well as a chance for clients to receive money back for their items they’ve worked hard for.
I am an every-day Canadian Mom, of two boys. I am a full time RN by career. I made a very significant financial mistake about 10 years ago which was the catalyst to my mindset shift, and dedication to living a budget life. I have since put sincere focus on spending less and shopping smart.

Passionate & Dedicated
Since I have always been passionate about and dedicated to a budget life, with a genuine interest in entrepreneurship - it dawned on me that it’s possible for me to blend those worlds together.
The initial prompt was looking for something to create that was for me, to maintain my identity as I was 4 weeks post-partum in the thick of COVID - stuck at home with a new baby and a toddler. I was in the depths of postpartum emotions, and wanted something I could shift my focus on to maintain my own passions. This was perfectly suited in the form of sharing opportunities to spend less, and save money - since I was already living that budget life myself.

My consignment program was then launched in August 2021 - driven by my innate passion for second hand. I have always loved to sell our own items to make extra money - and recognized a gap where people deserve to make money back for their items but I also realize the lack of time, energy or capacity to do it themselves. SO - I developed Canadian Saving Mom Consignment to fill that void for my clients.
